Stuff I Keep Forgetting To Convert
Just a quick cheat sheet I made so I don't have to keep googling these numbers every time.
1) RAM memory Convertions
- 1 Megabyte (MB) = 1024 Kilobytes (KB)
- 1 Gigabyte (GB) = 1024 Megabytes (MB)
Some random examples so it makes sense:
- 8 GB RAM = 8,192 MB (What a basic school laptop usually has)
- 16 GB RAM = 16,384 MB (What you want for a decent gaming setup to run Roblox smoothly)
- 512 GB SSD = Around half a Terabyte (Standard size for holding a bunch of games)
2. Feet to Meters (Height & Distance)
To figure this out manually, you just have to multiply the feet by 0.304.
- 1 Foot = 0.30 meters
- 3 Feet = 0.91 meters (About one yard)
- 5 Feet = 1.52 meters
- 10 Feet = 3.04 meters
3. Temperature (Fahrenheit to Celsius)
The math for this one is super annoying: Subtract 32, multiply by 5, then divide by 9. Here are the main ones to remember:
- 32°F = 0°C (KOLD)
- 70°F = 21.1°C (HOT)
- 100°F = 37.7°C (HOTTER)
- 500°F = 260°C (ME)
